Former Manchester United player Paul Ince has protested against manager Jose Mourinho for remaining at the club despite the bad results that has not stopped.

Mourinho saw his side being defeated again at the Old Trafford in the Champions League clash against Juventus on Tuesday and that seems to be unacceptable to Ince who says Mourinho must take his leave.

The start of life for the Portuguese manager was quite good as he delivered trophies to the club but the narrative as changed with the United being defeated almost once in two weeks.

According to the former player, the defensive system that is being adopted by the manager is unacceptable to the players and the fans which makes it a difficult situation to handle.

He, therefore, stated that the former Chelsea boss no longer has an excuse for his performance because he is not new to the club anymore.

Ince noted that the gap between United and other clubs is widening too fast and that must be checked with the sack of the manager as there seems to be no sign of improvement.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has insisted he will maintain his defensive approach to the games, explaining that he always wants to have the ball each time his opponents are with the ball.
