The 60-year-old Italian is under huge pressure at Stamford Bridge and could even lose his job as soon as Sunday if his side were to be beaten by leading EPL club Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final.
And according to latest report, it is understood he could be set for a return to Serie A but it certainly not Napoli.
This week, Sarri reportedly met with Roma chief Franco Baldini London, to discuss the potential switch to Serie A.
Roma boss Eusebio Di Francesco’s future is unclear and he could be sacked anytime soon, with their sporting director Monchi strongly linked with an exit from the Giallorossi.
