Premier League giants Manchester United are being heavily tipped to seal their most recent summer signing within the next couple of hours.
Mourinho wants Brazilian star
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been strongly linked with a number of quality footballers across the world, as he the Portuguese tactician looks to beat “noisy neighbours” Manchester City to the English Premier League crown next campaign.
The Man United manager has moved very fast enough to seal a transfer deal for Brazil international midfielder Fred from Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk even though the move has not been sealed completely just yet.
Rumors have even been flying around of hiccups in the reported $66.3million transfer deal for the South American as the midfielder is currently in Russia on international duty with his Country at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.
Fred will sign today
But popular British broadcasters Sky Sports are currently claiming that the former Premier League champions are finally closing in on the transfer deal to land Fred.
According to Sky Sources, the combative midfielder will be confirmed as a Red Devils player on Thursday
Signing the Shakhtar midfielder is a decent move for Man United, no doubt, but Portuguese tactician and former Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho needs to complete a few more transfer deals before the campaign starts.
