Deal On!!! Newcastle to bid for departing Man United star
The emerging report claims that Newcastle would seek to snap up the signature of Juan Mata as he is set to leave the club now that the season has ended.
Juan Mata enjoyed a very impressive career at Manchester United and this could just be the end for him after making his stand known as the club did not want him to leave.
With his contract set to expire in the next two months, there have not been talks of new deals for the 31-year-old player which means he would be leaving as a free player.
Newcastle United are therefore willing to hand the former Chelsea star a stay in the English Premier League.
Although, the future of Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez is yet to be sorted out at the club, he’s keen to bring in Juan Mata to help his struggling side for the coming season challenge.
However, it is unclear if Newcastle United will be able to meet with the weekly wage of £100 million for Juan Mata as that could be the only challenge to make the deal fall through.
Meanwhile, some Spanish La Liga outfits are linked to the Spanish player and it is suggested that that will be his destination.
