Chelsea talented forward Eden Hazard says when his family came to watch him play recently, they were simply distracted by the touchline antics of his side’s Italian manager Antonio Conte.
Former Italy coach Antonio Conte has become famous in England for lots of things upon his arrival at Stamford Bridge. One of the things he does on the pitch that draws people’s attention to him is his energetic displays at the side of the pitch. He never sits down but keeps rampaging to and fro dishing out instructions to his players and also joining in celebrations with fans.
Hazard on his part says he saw a lot of things, but many are not in the moment of the game because as a player, sometimes, you don’t see the manager while on the pitch.
And while recounting a time that his family came to watch the team play this season, the Belgium international said that the former Juventus manager proved something of a distraction.
The Belgian revealed that when his family came to one of the games, (and joked that) he thinks his dad looked at Conte more than on the pitch – because it’s all funny.
As Chelsea welcomes Manchester United again tonight, the Italian boss will have yet another opportunity to distract Hazard’s family (and many others too) when they meet Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in the FA Cup.
After the FA Cup game with Manchester United tonight, Chelsea got the remaining days of the week all to themselves until Saturday when they play Stoke City away in a premier league game.
Mourinho and his Manchester United boys on the other hand will host Rostov at Old Trafford for the 2nd leg of their Europa League encounter.
