Chelsea ended last season in an unpleasant note.
Fortunately, the players appears to have fully recovered from the ugly experience they got last season. And Eden Hazard too isn’t excluded.
The Belgium international and the rest of the Chelsea players had a horrific spell under both Jose Mourinho and Guus Hiddink last season.
The Stamford Bridge club finished in the 10th position following their poor Premier League title defence. We all knew how the Portuguese tactician was sacked in December 2015 after losing in the dressing room.
However (perhaps I should say ‘luckily’), Jose Mourinho was persuaded to join Manchester United and the Special One is currently impressing at the Old Trafford club. And on the other hand also, Chelsea’s new appointed coach Antonio Conte is currently guiding the blues to the title too. The former Juventus boss keeps receiving lots of accolades from all over the world.
Under Jose Mourinho’s last campaign at Chelsea, Hazard was struggling with a hip injury then, and I can imagine what he would be going through due to their bad performances. However, he said he is happy now after telling himself to get over the Portuguese coach’s sacking.
The Belgian affirmed to the Daily Telegraph that he started last season with pain and that he also remembered the game at Leicester – which was also so painful.
He said he dealt with everything and he’s so happy this season.
