Lyon star player Nabil Fekir has been heavily linked with a move away from the club ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, and it appears he will definitely play in the premier league next season.
According to new reports, premier league heavyweights Chelsea have been given the chance to get his signature this summer.
Nabil was on the verge of finalising a £53 Million move to Liverpool, only for the deal to be called off by Lyon.
The Frenchman is understood to be interested in moving to Anfield and has even agreed to personal terms with the Merseyside club. The player has done a medical with Jurgen Klopp’s side and had also agreed on his shirt number before the Ligue 1 side announced the deal is off.
However, the Sun are currently reporting that the French club are still open to selling the player, although they are not expecting to receive a fee that is below £66M for his signature.
It was also added that Nabil’s side have offered him to West Londoners Chelsea, and it was suggested that the Frenchman will play at Stamford Bridge next season if the club will meet up with Lyon’s asking price this summer.
Nabil played 40 games for Lyon last season and was able to score 23 goals with 8 assists.
