Premier League side Chelsea are prepared to land defender Daniele Rugani from Italian club Juventus this summer window, as per reports.
According to Italian media reports, the 2017 Premier League champions are poised to make the Juventus star their first summer signing this transfer window.
Chelsea set to complete first summer move
Italian publication Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by Metro, is claiming that the 23-year-old is poised to emerge the Blues first summer signing.
The same story says that the defender has accepted a bid from the West London outfit and that he is heavily poised to make a switch to Chelsea before the commencement of the campaign.
Sarri want defender at Chelsea
As per the same report, the young defender is one of manager Maurizio Sarri’s top transfer targets, with the tactician widely expected to take charge of the club from Italian boss Antonio Conte this summer window.
For the main time, however, the former Italy boss remains in charge at Stamford Bridge as they look to resolve their coaching situation as fast as possible.
The defender has been heavily linked with a transfer to Stamford bridge over the past few days and it looks as if he is indeed moving closer to securing the move to Stamford Bridge.
