Branislav Ivanovicr Set To Seal Stunning Transfer Move

Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic is reportedly set to complete a stunning move to Zenit St Petersburg.

Ivanovic has seen his chances reduce at the Stamford Bridge which sparked transfer speculations regarding his future and the latest reports have it that a move to Russia might materialise in coming days.

Reports in the MailOnline claim that the Serbian defender is in talks to move to Zenit and a deal could be thrashed this weekend.

The 32-year-old is one of the oldest players in the current Blues side after his arrival from Lokomotiv Moscow for £9million but further fall down the pecking order in the Blues squad due to the arrival of Nathan Ake from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.

Ivanovic has played only 15 times for Chelsea with only six months left on his deal. He is now set to sign a three-year deal with the Russian giants.

In related news, Blues goalie Thibaut Courtois has reportedly been searching for new schools in Real Madrid ahead of his proposed summer move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The move could see Chelsea set their sights to other viable replacements for the Belgian who is believed to be keen on return to Spain after spending three seasons with Atletico Madrid.
