We are set to witness another derby clash as the Tottenham travel to the Emirates Stadium to take on their neighbours the Gunners.

The Gunners are experiencing a great turnaround since Unai Emery replaced Arsene Wenger, they are unbeaten in 21 matches in all competitions and they would be hoping to continue such form against their arch-rivals.

As part of his preparation for this game, the former Paris St-German boss rested most of his first-team players against Vorskla on Thursday.

He gave him many academy stars the chance to make their debut with the senior team so as to allow his usual prospects to be in top shape ahead of Tottenham’s challenges.

Having thrashed Chelsea 3-1 last week, the Lilywhites are aiming to make it two consecutive wins over top six clubs when they tackle their North London rivals.

The race for the Premier League trophy is becoming more intense and interesting as the week goes by, hence, every top six teams know that every point are important.

Though Chelsea, Liverpool and man Manchester City, are currently making headlines as potential title contenders, Arsenal and Tottenham are still in contention for the glory.

To this effect, both managers – Unai Emery and Mauricio Pochettino, are aware of the importance of getting maximum points and they are going for it.

In recent seasons, Arsenal have had the upper hand in the North London derby. They will be going for an outright win on Sunday to protect their impressive records against the Gunners.

Tottenham, at the other end, haven’t been convincing against their rivals in recent years, but that could change later on today.

Unai Emery’s men are on the mission to prove that their transformation under the Spanish manager is not a fluke.

Having lost to Chelsea and Manchester City — two out of top six clubs, Arsenal are out to prove to their fans and football lovers that they can stand head-to-head with any top six clubs in the League.

Considering the numbers of goals both clubs have scored so far this season, fans should expect plenty of goals.

The Gunners have found the back of the net more than 20 times, while Tottenham have been able to put over 15 shots into the net, hence, there are great chances that the teams will score as many goals as possible.

Traditionally, every London derbies are often characterized by many hard tackles and bookings and today’s North London encounter won’t be in an exception.

Center referee Mike Dean will need to do a great work to ensure he didn’t do anything to further doubt his credibility.

As much as there will be rash tackles, there are going to be massive bookings also.

With the current crop of players at both sides, we are set to witness one of the greatest entertaining, tough, and explosive North London derby of all time
