Real Madrid center forward Alvaro Morata has been heavily linked with an exit from the Spanish capital this season and it appears the player has his heart set for a move to the English Premier League.
It is understood that both Chelsea and Manchester United are chasing the Spanish striker following his struggles to get game time under French boss Zinedine Zidane this just concluded season.
The 24-year-old made a late cameo in the Champions League final on Saturday as his Real Madrid won their 12th European Cup.
However, news coming from Spain claims Alvaro has asked Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to facilitate his move to Premier League champions Chelsea.
The player has also been heavily linked with AC Milan in recent times. However, Diario Gol insists Morata has no interest in joining the Serie A side but he is eyeing a move to Stamford Bridge instead.
It was added that the Spaniard is aware he will not get regular playing time at Real Madrid as long as Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are leading their attack.
Chelsea forward Diego Costa is expected to leave the west London club to the Chinese Super League in a big money move. Morata and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku have been linked to Chelsea as Costa’s replacement.
