Three Arsenal players who are likely to leave Arsenal in the summer Transfer

The Gunners have been under some certain level of criticism following off field talking points and issues as pertaining to the club and Arsene Wenger’s possible departure at the end of the season.

Many club faithful and pundits are pushing and lamenting about what Arsenal are yet to do and what they need to do in the summer to improve their fortunes in the Premier League next season.

This ranges from signing of new players as well as concrete deliberations with regards to Wenger’s contract extension and the availability of the duo of Alexis Sanchez next season.

Be it as it may be there may be some exit from the Emirates this summer following some underachievement and some physical constraint that needs to be dealt with at the summer if Arsenal will move forward with the possibility of some players exit at the club.

We take a look at some of these players who may leave Arsenal in the summer (at the end of the season).

FRANCIS COQUELIN

The French midfield player have enjoyed his time at Arsenal to some extent but the arrival of Egyptian midfielder in (Mohamed) Elneny and the summer signing of Granit Xhaka from Borussia Moenchengladbach had somehow hidden his input at the club.

The Swiss midfield talent had made the defensive midfield position his own ahead of even Elneny who impressed for Arsenal against Barcelona with a wonder goal.

This further pushed the Frenchman behind the pecking order at Arsenal Football club and a move is needed to revive the young midfielders’ carrier who is somehow hanging on a thread.

LUCAS PEREZ

The Spaniard who joined the Gunners in the summer from Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna have struggled to cut it out at the London Club but have found it difficult all season.

This is largely due to adaptation issues and injury worries he had experienced since moving to the Premier League. Though the forward had at some point this season given Arsenal some good food for thought following good performances against Sutton United in the 0-2 win where he looked liveliest among Arsenal players in the game.

He further got a hat-trick before Alex Iwobi added a fourth to make it 4-1 against FC Basel in Switzerland. Despite this performances, it is still not enough as injury had placed him behind bars in the Arsenal unit.

With players like the want away duo of Alexis Sanchez, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the duo of Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott ahead of him in the pecking order it may be fine for the Spaniard to move in the summer to revive his carrier.

It looked that the forward may not turn up consistently on an Arsenal shirt due to the physicality (constraint) of the Premier League and the best for the forward (Lucas Perez) is to move elsewhere preferable back to Spain where he arrived from in the summer transfer.

GABRIEL PAULISTA

The Brazilian defender had been relegated to the bench behind the defensive partnership of Skipper Laurent Koscielny and Shkodran Mustafi at Arsenal Football Club.

This have really affected the player performance this season as he have been tossed around in different (unfamiliar) positions this season where he is not well accustomed to.

The Brazilian moved to the Premier League from Villarreal just like his replacement at the club in Eric Baily who moved from Villarreal to Manchester United but unlike Baily have failed to establish himself in the Premier League. This have affected his international place with Brazil as the likes of Koscielny and even want away (by Barcelona) Hector Bellerin hold sway ahead of him at the club.

A move away from the Arsenal side may just be what the defender needs at the end of the season to revive a fading carrier that looked initially promising following the move to the Emirates.
