It is no longer news that the North London outfit Arsenal have agreed on a deal to secure the signature of Ituano’s Gabriel Martinelli who has been tipped to be the new Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Brazilian international has been on the radar of the North London outfit for a number of years and it has finally been seasoned by Spanish boss Unai Emery who also has a big interest in Gabriel Martinelli’s style of play.
It is suggested that the Spanish boss has done the right thing to avoid regretting like his predecessor Arsene Wenger who had the opportunity to secure the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo but reused to pick it up.
Gabriel Martinelli is only 17 and will cost Arsenal about £6 million to land him but he has been regarded as one of the most promising youngsters in Europe because of the prospect he has shown with Ituano.
He has stated that he is an attacking player and has already dreamed to be like Cristiano Ronaldo who plays the modern style of a forward player with his speed, movement without the foot.
However, he is expected to join the first team for training in the preseason where he will meet his teammates to begin a new relationship.
