United warned how to handle Solskjaer’s case

Manchester United have been told to take the how to handle the appointment of interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a permanent boss at the Old Trafford if he would be considered.

The former Man United forward was appointed as an interim boss after the former manager Jose Mourinho was sacked last year December but here have been calls from fans, pundits and former players to the club management to land give Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the benefit of doubt.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has so far taken charge of 12 games and has seen just a defeat in the Champions League against French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain and another draw in the Premier League.

However, former player Ryan Giggs has told the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to consider Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and hand him the job on a permanent basis.

According to him, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is known to the club and has the tactical ability to make the players effective by giving them the freedom.

However, Ryan Giggs warned Ed Woodward not to be in a rush to make any decision, stressing that it is important to keep the announcement close to his heart and not make it public so as not to distract the team.
