Tottenham Hotspur are overwhelming favourites to sign highly rated Norwich City fullback Max Aarons according to reports from the British media.
The 18-year-old is enjoying a breakthrough season for the Canaries in the second-tier of English football this term.
The Daily Mirror believes that Spurs are leading the race for the young English talents ahead of other interested clubs such as Arsenal and Chelsea.
It was further revealed that Norwich City have slapped a £15m asking price on the player.
Young English fullback Aarons has helped the Canaries to the top of the English Championship table in their quest to gain promotion to the Premier League ahead of next season’s edition.
The top two from the Championship will gain promotion into the Premier League automatically while the next four teams will battle it out for the remaining spot for top flight promotion.
Norwich City are the new leaders in the English Championship after they defeated their hosts Leeds United in a league game played at the weekend.
The Canaries defeated former leaders Leeds United 3-1 at Elland Road on Saturday and the win was enough to propel Norwich City to the summit at the expense of their opponents.
Max Aarons could be the long-term replacement for Cesar Azpilicueta at Chelsea, while he could complement the injured Hector Bellerin at Arsenal.
