English Premier League outfit Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has called for a bigger focus as he dismissed the fact that his team had caused an upset in 1999 to walk through and that it could play a role.
The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Spanish giants in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals and will now head to Spain for the second leg later on Tuesday.
There are therefore suggestions that the Red Devils can bank on past glory and records to cause an upset to the Spanish side as it was done in 1999 but it has been dismissed by the former forward.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer therefore, stated that what happened in 1999 only happened against German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich and not against Arsenal which means that they must move on to ensure they make a new record against Barcelona later on Tuesday.
He noted that he would rather make use of the game against PSG in the round of 16 and the win against Juventus as an inspiration to face Barcelona.
However, the game promises to be a special one as there are expectations that the Red Devils will pose a surprise despite being favourites.
