Bale set to leave Real Madrid
The Welshman’s future has been a major source of rumour in recent days after the wide man hinted that he will be pondering on his future this summer window following his lack of regular playing time at La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Gareth Bale came off the substitute bench to score a brace in Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League final victory over Premier League side Liverpool on Saturday, but he looked to be upset about his reduced playing time under French tactician Zinedine Zidane.
Man United linked with Bale
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a transfer to sign Gareth Bale, 28, in the days since the Champions League final, although it remains to be discovered whether there the speculation is true.
Now, ex-Man United defender turn boxer Rio Ferdinand has said that he would love to see the attacker return to the English Premier League and join Manchester United.
Bale netted twice in the second half for the La Liga giants as they defeated Liverpool 3-1 in the UEFA Champions League for the third year running.
