Reports claim that Italian giant AC Milan are interested in Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere. The England International was linked with a move to AC Milan and fellow Serie A club Roma last summer but the move failed to materialize.
Wilshere then made the choice to join premiership outfit Bournemouth on a season long loan to get regular playing time after he did not get assurance from Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that he will be a regular for the gunners.
Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport claims that AC Milan have once again renewed their interest in the midfielder and are pondering on making a move for him next summer.
What seems to make this move feasible is the admission of Wilshere that he could leave Arsenal on a permanent basis as he looks to improve his career and get a club where he can play on a regular basis.
Wilshere is set to return to North London after his loan spell at Bournemouth. His contract runs out the following summer and Arsene Wenger has stated that he will like to keep the 24-year-old at the Emirates with a new deal but it is not known when this will happen.
Wilshere could have a hard time getting a position in the Arsenal midfield as the club has a lot of options. Wenger has an array of players to pick from including Mohamed Elneny, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Francis Coquelin and Santi Cazorla. With everyone fit, Wilshere will have a hard time getting a shirt which makes a move from the Emirates quite possible.
