Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is bent on having his way in the signing of new players to the club and is reported to have approached the board to activate the buy-back clause in Memphis Depay’s Lyon deal when the Dutchman left the club in January 2017. Depay had joined United from Lyon in 2015 and had a promising start, not forgetting the brilliant brace he scored in a Champions League clash with Club Bruges.
