English Premier League giants Manchester United have learned that Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona are willing to keep their target Philippe Coutinho without having him leave the club this winter transfer window.
Reports in the British press claim that although the La Liga leaders are not happy with the situation of the former Liverpool star, they are willing o keep him at the club.
It was earlier reported that United’s interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was keen on the signature of the Brazilian star and ready to take advantage of his unhappy situation at the club.
It would be recalled that Philippe Coutinho only left the Anfield about a year ago in a big money deal and already missing out of the team.
However, Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is ready to keep faith in the Brazilian international and hand him more time to win over the challenges and competitions in the team.
Meanwhile, United are yet to secure any deal in this January winter transfer window which is about running out in coming days but there are hopes that there could be some last minutes deals knowing that the club are making good efforts.
Howbeit, United are not willing o let go of any of their key players in this window.
