Man United Legend hails €55m Liverpool star for aggressive play vs. Arsenal

Ex Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand has hailed Liverpool super star for his contribution in the match against Arsenal.

Commenting on Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Arsenal, He said:

“Roberto Firmino’s first touch for the goal was beautiful, and it was a great Finnish from the Brazilian”.

It is indeed great to see Firmino score against Arsenal to get back on the scoresheet.

Firminho has contributed just two goals in twelve games so far and hadn’t giving any assists in the last 17 games so far.

He has proven he has the right mentality not to get carried away, though he needs to build on this and play regularly until the end of the season.

And for Lallana, he has just one goal and one assist in the last 14 games so far.

Jurgen Klopp has shown interest to get a top striker, and even if Firminho scores regularly, Liverpool still need a top striker for the next season in other to compete for a top Premier League finish.

This can be beneficial to Firmino if Jurgen Klopp decides to get a top striker as this would only spur Firminho to work harder just as Suarez improved the performance of Sturridge.
