After spending time together in the French national team, Chelsea star N’Golo Kante says he is a big fan of Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe, and having had the opportunity to train with him, admits the striker is such a big talent.
Both played together for France in their 3-2 triumph over England on Tuesday night and the Chelsea player has heaped praise on the talented youngster, tipping him for a big future on the pitch.
Mbappe’s superb form has seen him linked with top clubs across Europe this summer. The likes of Arsenal, Manchester City, and Real Madrid have been after his signature for a while, and recently, there were reports that premier league champions Chelsea are stepping up their interest in the player in a possible £114 Million deal.
Diego Costa was asked to leave Stamford Bridge by Antonio Conte this summer, and the Italian boss has been on the lookout for a superb replacement for the Spaniard ahead of a busy campaign next season. Mbappe looks ideal, as the player has proved while on international duty that he can adapt anywhere and remain fabulous.
In the just concluded season, the 18-year-old scored 26 goals in all competitions for his French club to help them win the Ligue 1 title and reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
