RB Leipzig boss Ralph Hasenhuttl have warned off attempts to sign tough-tackling midfielder Naby Keita amid strong interest from Liverpool.
The 22-year-old has been a key figure for the Bundesliga in their brilliant form in top flight German football and have been tracked by a number of clubs in Europe.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to be keen on landing Keita this summer, having paid attention to his solid displays for Leipzig this season, with reports he will try to lure him to Anfield next season.
However, Hasenhuttl has claimed that the midfielder will be leaving the club anytime soon despite intense interest from big clubs in Europe.
He said: “He feels well, and we love him.
“We are a super, exciting club. Naby sees how much the coach invests to make him better.
“If I take the celebrations as a benchmark, Naby will stay with us forever.
The Guinean star arrived at the Bundesliga side last summer from Red Bull Salzburg, helping his side to a comfortable league position behind Bayern Munich after shock impressive display in the early parts of the campaign.
It is understood that Leipzig will offer Naby Keita a new deal at the end of the season in a bid to fend off interest from clubs and will hope the midfielder remains at the club as they prepare to take part in the Champions League
