Mourinho To Be Approached For Impressive Man United Youngster’s Deal

New reports have it that Aston Villa are keen to extend Manchester United owned loanee goalkeeper Sam Johnstone’s stay at the Villa Park beyond the end of this season.

Following his arrival at Aston Villa back in January, 24-year-old Sam Johnstone, who is a former England Under-20 international, has successfully kept an impressive 5 clean sheets in 17 appearances for the Championship side so far this season

The Villans are currently in the 12th position in the English second-tier league following their back-to-back victories over the duo of Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan Athletic respectively. And right now, it is being said that they desire signing the young goalie  on a permanent deal this summer.

The manager, Steve Bruce, took to the club’s official website to revealed to all that he is meeting Manchester United Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho to discuss the goalkeeper’s long-term future.

Bruce stated that the young shotstopper needed to go to a place where he can play regular football, as there are differences in him right now at the Villa compared to three months ago when he was still sitting on the bench at Old Trafford.

He stated he is  going to see Mourinho and If there is an opportunity that they can get him to play more next season, he would love to do it.

Sam has been with Manchester United since as far as 2009. He has however failed to make his first-team appearance for the Old Trafford club, but has being loaned out to other clubs like Doncaster Rovers, Scunthorpe United, Yeovil Town,   Walsall, Oldham Athletic and Preston North End.
