Man United Star Player Delivers Transfer Update Amid Serie A Rumours

Matteo Darmian

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian has insisted that he is not leaving the Old Trafford this summer.

The Italian full-back has been tipped to make a move away from Old Trafford due to his lack of appearances under Jose Mourinho.

Darmian has also endured an injury-hit season at United last season, which caused him to fall further behind the pecking order under Mourinho.

There are reports that Juventus and Inter Milan have signalled their interest in signing the former Torino defender.

However, Darmian has come out to insist that he wants to remain at Manchester United and will remain relevant at the club.

The full-back said that he had ‘always worked hard’ and will build on his previous performances at the club.

Darmain went on to declare that Manchester United will start the next Premier League campaign stronger than last season.

United are understood to be after a full-back after allowing Tim Fosu-Mensah to leave on loan to Crystal Palace, with the likes of Fabinho and Serge Aurier both linked with an Old Trafford.

Following the arrival of Victor Lindelof from Benfica, Jose Mourinho will prefer a new face to fill in on the flanks ahead of the next season.
