English Premier League outfit Manchester United are reported to be returning with a bid for France international and Atletico Madrid defender Lucas Hernandez in this January winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are desperate to land more additions to their defence having given the nod to interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer that he will be getting financial support to do some deals in this January.
Spanish press, therefore, reports that the Red Devils will face strong competition from German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the pursuit of the player as they have also indicated strong interest.
Spanish newspaper OK Diario hints that a deal will be concluded for Lucas Hernandez in this January and he could head towards the German league with Bayern Munich reported being done with negotiations for the player.
It would be recalled that United were strong suitors for Lucas Hernandez in the last summer transfer window but the Spanish La Liga outfit turned down the offer for the defender.
Former manager Jose Mourinho was keen on the signature of the star player as he was a big fan of his style but the still could still go on as United’s interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a fan of Lucas Hernandez as well.
