Premier League title challengers Liverpool are said to be eyeing a move for young English winger Jack Clarke ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Jack Clarke is on the books of English Championship club Leeds United at the moment.
The 18-year-old winger has impressed a great deal for the former Champions League semifinalists since the start of the season and his form has attracted the interest of the Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The German tactician has already sent scouts to run the rule over the player on several occasions with a view to making a move for him during the summer as reported by the Daily Express.
Liverpool have to fend off other interested clubs like Arsenal in their quest to sign him.
Leeds United Marcelo Bielsa gave Jack Clarke the opportunity to stake a claim for a spot in the first team and he has grabbed it with both hands.
His form has helped Leeds United in their quest to secure Premier League promotion via the top two teams on the English Championship table.
Leeds United are second on the table with two points separating them and league leaders Norwich City.
The aforementioned publication also revealed that Liverpool manager Klopp will still sign Jack Clarke even if Leeds United gain promotion to the top flight of English football for next season.
