Paris Saint Germaine forward Jese Rodriguez is reportedly set for talks ahead of a January move.
Jese joined the French Champions just last summer transfer for £21m from Real Madrid but has had a torrid spell in France starting just one of his nine top-flight appearances for PSG.
A host of European clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the forward who is keen to leave the Parc des Princes. The likes of Roma and AC Milan are believed to fight for his signature alongside Liverpool.
Reports in the Sun claim that Liverpool could miss out on the 23-year-old with suggestions that Roma are set to meet with PSG over a deal as Manager Luciano Spalletti is said to be keen to bring in cover or Mohamed Salah, who is set to head off to the African Cup of Nations with Egypt.
The deal is said to be a £2.8 million loan till the end of the season while they also foot a chunk of the player’s salary with options to sign him permanently in the summer for a reduced price to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
Liverpool might have to prepare for the exit of Daniel Sturridge who has struggled for a starting spot under Jurgen Klopp.
