Liverpool defender Trent Alexandre-Arnold has lauded the mental strength shown by the Reds in the last one week.
Alexandre-Arnold and his Liverpool teammates have maintained their push for major honours in two competitions.
The England international right-back spoke about the new-found mental strength from Liverpool during his recent interview monitored by Goal.
According to him, the progress made by Liverpool in the last week was due to the mental strength displayed by the team.
Liverpool lost their spot at the top of the Premier League table to Manchester City after a run of two draws and one win but a run of two successive wins over Burnley and Fulham has since enabled them to climb back to the summit though their title rivals have played a poor game.
Liverpool came from a goal down to beat Burnley 4-2 at home courtesy goals from Sadio Mane (2) and Roberto Firmino (2) before the 2-1 victory over Fulham away from home sealed top spot on the Premier League table.
In between the Burnley and Fulham games, Liverpool beat Bayern Munich 3-1 away from home in the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie to book their spot in the quarterfinals of the competition via a 3-1 win on aggregate.
