Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has stated he is not concerned with playing against Chelsea in the FA Cup quarter finals.
After a successful win against Blackburn at E-wood Park on Sunday with Rashford and Ibrahimovic goals, United will now face Chelsea in the next round.
Man United will face St Etienne this coming Wednesday before the EFL Cup final against Southampton the following Sunday.
The special one as fondly called as hinted that Liverpool and Chelsea have the advantage to win the Premier League title race “due to lack of EU football” giving Antonio Conte an edge to win the Premier League.
He said -“Probably Chelsea can only think about that [the FA Cup] because I think they are champions and they have nothing else to fight for,” Sky Sports reports Mourinho as saying after the Blackburn win.
“The FA Cup is something I believe is important for them.
“I have to play St Etienne [on Wednesday], I have to play the [League Cup] final, I have to play hopefully another opponent in the Europa League.
“I have to fight for a top-four position in the Premier League.
“I have so many things to think about.”
On the 11th of March, United will face Chelsea, with the hope to win Southampton the coming days– original date postponed as a result of Chelsea’s clash.
