Good news for Chelsea as Isco makes favorable decision over future

If reports from Spanish media giant AS is anything to trust, then, Chelsea fans should be hopeful as regards Isco’s signature.

According to the media outlet this morning, Isco is set to leave Santiago Bernabeu in the summer should Santiago Solari remains as Real Madrid manager.

Isco’s decision to leave the European Champions in the summer is base on the obvious reason of not being featured regularly in the Argentine’s team.

The 26-year-old playmaker has fallen out of favour with Santiago Solari, he has seen just 419 minutes of first-team action throughout this season and that’s surely unacceptable for a player of his quality.

This will come as good news to Chelsea and their supporters who will be very happy to see the Spaniard in Yokohama’s jersey next season.

The Blues have been Isco’s longtime suitor but their bids often get rejected by the La Liga giants.

However, they now feel there is a huge chance of luring him to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.

Manchester City are also said to be on the lookout for the Spaniard’s services. Pep Guardiola is a fan of the midfielder and the Spanish manager wouldn’t mind spending big on his compatriot’s signature in the next transfer market.

Though Kelvin de Bruyne is doing wonders for the Cityzens at the middle of the pitch, Guardiola isn’t happy with the fact that the Belgian is injury-prone.

Meanwhile, it is unlikely Madrid retain Solari’s services after this season considering how shambolic the team has been since he took over from Jullen Lopetegui in October last season.

Former United manager José Mourinho has been linked with a return to Santiago Bernabeu but it is yet to be seen if the Portuguese will accept the offer.
