Thorgan Hazard

German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Belgian forward Thorgan Hazard.

The 26-year-old joins Borussia Dortmund from fellow German Bundesliga side Borussia Moenchengladbach in a deal reported to be around £30m.

The former Chelsea player has signed a five-year deal at Borussia Dortmund.

Hazard becomes the second summer signing at Borussia Dortmund after left-back Nico Schulz.

German defender Schulz joined Borussia Dortmund from TSG Hoffenheim earlier this week.

Thorgan Hazard is the younger brother of Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard and they both play for the Red Devils of Belgium.

Borussia Dortmund narrowly missed out on the league title to defending champions Bayern Munich on the last day of the just concluded Bundesliga season and they are determined to win the title next season.

The Bundesliga runners-up have made their quest to win the league title for the first time in eight years known by making quality signings at the early stage of this summer’s transfer window.

Thorgan Hazard was a Chelsea player for three years until he joined Borussia Moenchengladbach permanently after a successful loan spell.

He scored 10 goals and also provided 10 assists in 33 German Bundesliga games during the just concluded season as Borussia Moenchengladbach missed out on Champions League football to Bayer Leverkusen.
