Chelsea on loan defender Abdul Baba Rahman could make a shock return to Premier League in January, with various report linking him to Everton.
According to report from the Sun, Everton new boss Ronald Koeman is making plans to lure the Ghanaian international left back to Goodison Park in the winter transfer window.
Koeman sees Baba as a potential replacement for 31-year old Leighton Baines who has been the first choice left back for years now.
The 22-year old Ghanaian moved to Stamford Bridge for a fee thought to be around £20million in the summer of 2015. He was brought in to replace departed Brazilian star Felipe Luis. However, Baba failed to establish himself in the left back and was only able to make just Eleven Premier League starts.
The arrival of Antonio Conte to Stamford Bridge this summer saw Baba being shipped out on loan to German side Schalke for game time.
Should the right offer come for Baba, Conte may decides to sell the left back, giving that he has Marcos Alonso as his preferred number one choice in the left back position.
Baba Rahman has started just five Bundesliga matches this season, but he has found much game time in the Europa League matches.
