According to new reports, Ivorian star player Serge Aurier has verbally agreed to make a move to English premier league side Manchester United after he held talks with the club’s Portuguese manager.
Right now, Serge is regarded as one of the finest right-backs in Europe and is a target for Jose Mourinho.
The PSG defender is seen as a potential long-term solution to Manchester United’s right role of defence problem. 31-year-old veteran star Antonio Valencia has made the role wholly his and is playing with little competition for his place.
And reports coming out from France states that the 24-year-old Ivorian international has agreed to move to Manchester United this summer transfer window.
If he should come, he would have the opportunity to play alongside his compatriot and fullback Eric Bailly. Bailly is a quality player protecting the heart of United’s defense, and introducing Serge would only add more power to United’s defense.
Nevertheless, it was added that though Aurier desire coming to the England club during the fast approaching transfer, his current French club do not want to lose him right now.
The Old Trafford club are yet to agree fee with the French club and Serge still has two years left on his current contract. So, the Ligue I side might not be in a rush to sell him.
But considering that Manchester United are always set to splash hard to get what they want, they might convince PSG to agree to a deal to allow the defender come to the England club.
