Emerging reports reveal that Italian Serie A outfit Napoli is set to conclude a deal for Spanish La Liga outfit Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
It is reported that the Serie A side have already held positive talks with the camp of the star midfielder and it is expected that a deal would be sealed as soon as the summer transfer window is opened.
This remains a big blow to the Arsenal team as it is expected that the 23-year-old would come in as a replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is set to leave the club on a free transfer after agreeing on a four-year deal with the Italian Serie A champions Juventus.
However, the Gunners team are keen on a replacement for the former Cardiff City midfielder but it is feared that they will have to look up to other options with Pablo Fornals already nearing a switch to the Serie A.
Meanwhile, it has been observed that the Gunners team have got a slim chance to land Pablo Fornals after learning that the Serie A outfit is still not ready to meet with the £24 million asking price for the star player.
