PSV Eindhoven attacker Hirving Lozano will join Italian Serie A giants Napoli in the summer after a transfer fee was agreed for him according to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport.
Lozano has been a key performer for PSV Eindhoven for the better part of the last two seasons and it’s not surprising that many clubs are the trail of the Mexican international player.
Major European clubs like Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have all been linked with a summer swoop for him.
The aforementioned clubs will miss out on him to Italian giants Napoli after the player agreed on a five-year contract with him.
The length of his contract was revealed by the aforementioned publication which also stated that Napoli will pay €40m for the player.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis, Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti and the player’s agent Mino Raiola all met to reach a decision on the details of the contract that will take Hirving Lozano to the club in the summer.
Lozano gained worldwide prominence last summer when he scored the only goal of the game as the world champions Germany were stunned 1-0 by Mexico in the first game of their title defence at the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
