Ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, one of the players who has been heavily linked with a move away from his current side is Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri.
The talented player has caught the attention of a handful of top clubs across Europe and he is expected to leave Nice at the end of this season.
Premier League heavyweights Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in his signature. And there are new reports that the West London club have opened talks with the Ligue 1 side over a deal to sign the midfielder.
Chelsea are ready to take advantage of the upcoming window to reinforce their squad and have been linked with different talented players. The Stamford Bridge club are keen on adding more power to their midfield department. according to L’Equipe (via Metro), they are set to do all it takes to get Seri’s signature when summer comes.
It was also made known that the midfielder could be bought for £35 million as a result of the release clause in his contract at Nice.
Manchester United are understood to be interested in Seri too. The Old Trafford club have been seeking a good replacement for Micheal Carrick who would hang his boots at the end of this term.
