Former Arsenal superstar Thierry Henry is of the opinion that Antoine Griezmann would be a brilliant signing for Manchester United in the upcoming summer transfer window and has even urged the France international to move to the Premier League in the future.
As United manager Jose Mourinho prepares for his second season in charge at Old Trafford, the club are definitely bound to be on the lookout for new signings in the summer transfer window.
In recent weeks, the club have been linked with a big-money bid for Griezmann in various reports in the media. Arsenal are also touted as a possible destination, and Chelsea are also said to be interested in him.
Thierry Henry however feels Griezmann would be a solid addition to any Premier League team.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ on Tuesday afternoon, he was asked if he expects Manchester United to sign Griezmann in the summer.
“He’s a player that you need in England, for the league and the fans, to be able to see that guy. I have known him for a very long time. People are talking about him going to Man United – it speaks volumes of how far he has come.
“For me, he should come to England. Will it be Man United? I don’t know, but he should come to the Premier League.” he replied.
