It has been revealed that Arsenal are already making moves to secure a new midfielder with the quest of replacing Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is bound to leave the club.

According to the Mirror, Villarreal midfielder Pablo Fornals has been pointed by manager Unai Emery as the one to replace the outgoing player who failed to agree on a new deal with the club.

The credit for the discovery of Pablo Fornals has been credited to the Gunner’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, who is known to have discovered bundles of talents including the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Shinji Kagawa, Ousmane Dembele.

With his short period at the Emirates Stadium, Sven Mislintat is responsible for bringing Matteo Guendouzi from Lorient with a fee as cheap as £8 million when compared to the player’s impact and his age.

However, it is suggested that Pablo Fornals is the next big thing that will be hitting the Emirates Stadium having broken into the heart of the Villarreal team and progressing rapidly since 2017.

Pablo Fornals is the type of player who likes to get the ball forward and has been identified to fit into the possession play by the Spanish manager. This adds to his speed which gives him an edge to the former Cardiff player.
