Betting Preview: PSG vs AS Monaco: Home Win Likely

French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) can secure a second successive league title at the weekend when they entertain rivals AS Monaco.

A draw at home to Monaco will be enough for PSG to get over the line in the quest to retain the French Ligue 1 title they won last season.

PSG have already wasted two opportunities to wrap up the title following two successive league defeats.

Thomas Tuchel and his PSG players were beaten 5-1 at nearest title challengers Lille last weekend when a draw would have secured the league title for them.

PSG also missed out on the opportunity to clinch the league title when they were beaten 3-2 in their away game at Nantes who came from behind to win the game.

The French champions have not recovered from their Champions League last 16 exit at the hands of Premier League giants Manchester United.

Their form has been average at best since the defeat from the Red Devils last month and they face a Monaco side that has suffered just one defeat in the last ten games in the French Ligue 1.

A home win for PSG is at the odds of 1.47 according to Surebet 247 while an unlikely away victory is at the odds of 5.95.

The possibility of a draw is at the odds of 4.80 according to Surebet247.
