German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have reportedly submitted an improved bid for young Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
This is according to the publication from Sky Sports.
It was revealed that the Bavarian giants have made a bid in the excess of £20m for the England junior international.
Chelsea are said to be holding out for £22.5m for the 18-year-old.
Bayern Munich have made Callum Hudson-Odoi their top transfer target ahead of the January transfer window which reopens in two days time.
Hudson-Odoi has just 18 months left on his current Chelsea contract which expires at the end of the 2019/20 season.
He had a very good preseason and Chelsea fans were hoping to see more of him in the Blues team this season but that has not been the situation for him and those fans under new manager Maurizio Sarri in this campaign.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has made just five appearances for the Blues in all competitions this season.
He made his first start in the Premier League in the London Derby win over Watford on Boxing Day.
The young English winger helped Chelsea to secure a 2-1 victory over the Hornets at Vicarage Road with star player Eden Hazard getting two goals for the visitors.
