Bayern Munich youngster Renato Sanches is quite aware that he must leave the club to get regular playing time, even if it’s on loan.
He has been linked with both Chelsea and Manchester United recently, but the two English clubs have now missed out on signing him, following reports that the player has decided to move to AC Milan instead.
Chelsea made a late move for the Portuguese midfielder in an attempt to add more options to their team considering the added demands of European football next campaign.
Italian manager Antonio Conte has made it known that he needs more players in his squad to be able to replicate last season’s success and avoid the mistakes made by former manager Jose Mourinho that saw the club finishing tenth in the premier league table.
Conte is said to need at least four more signings before the commencement of the upcoming campaign. Unfortunately, The Mirror reports that 19-year-old Sanches has rejected a move to Chelsea as the presence of the likes of Cesc Fabregas and N’Golo Kante has made him fear for his game time at Chelsea.
Renato is seeking to reignite his career following his poor campaign for the German champions that saw him lose his position in the Portuguese national squad.
And it was reported that since the player is not ready to continue sitting on the bench to enhance his development, he is now set to move to AC Milan instead, following advice from countryman Joao Mario that he should move to the Milan club for regular game time.
