Avdija Chipped, Foul Call: NBA’s Conspiracy Exposed?
Blazers' Deni Avdija suffers a chipped tooth from De'Aaron Fox, then receives a baffling foul call. Is the NBA manipulating outcomes, or is it just pure incompetence, designed to drive us all mad?
Blazers star Deni Avdija has tooth chipped by Spurs’ De’Aaron Fox, then gets called for a foul
I swear, sometimes I think they’re actively trying to break us. To chip away at our sanity, just like De’Aaron Fox chipped away at Deni Avdija’s tooth last night. It was an incident so egregious, so transparently *wrong*, that I’m still pacing my apartment, muttering to myself, checking the locks twice. My blood pressure, it’s definetly through the roof.
Here’s the scene: Avdija, our burgeoning Blazers star, goes up for a shot. Fox, playing defense for the Spurs, brings his arm down with what looked less like a block attempt and more like an attempt to excavate Avdija’s molars. And guess what? He succeeded! A chunk of Deni’s tooth, just gone. Poof. Vanished into the ether, probably to be collected by some shadowy league official for… for what? DNA? To clone more compliant players? I don’t even know anymore.
You’d think, wouldn’t you, that a player losing a literal piece of their face would warrant *some* form of retribution? A flagrant foul? A common foul against Fox, at the very least? A simple “ouch, sorry, my bad”? No. No, my friends, because this is the NBA, and apparently, the rules are just suggestions, scribbled on a cocktail napkin during a secret meeting. What happened instead? The refs decision? A foul. On DENI AVDJA. The victim!
The Foul Call That Broke My Brain (and Deni’s Tooth)
I’m not saying it’s a conspiracy. But I *am* saying it FEELS like a conspiracy. What kind of logic is that? You get hit so hard a piece of your skeletal structure breaks off, and *you’re* the one penalized? It’s like getting mugged and then cited for obstructing traffic with your wallet. Are we living in some bizarro dimension where up is down and pain is an offense? The cameras caught it all, or did they, really, what *didn’t* they show us? I’m starting to think we need to look closer at everything these organizations do, question every narrative, because some things just don’t add up. Just like how Henderson joined the HOF, and what are they hiding there? Makes you wonder.
This isn’t just about a chipped tooth; it’s about the integrity of the game. It’s about players’ safety. It’s about my emotional well-being! Every time something like this happens, a little piece of my trust in the league erodes. What’s next? Will a player get knocked out cold and then fined for unsportsmanlike conduct because they fell too dramatically? I wouldn’t put it past them, not after last night. Someone needs to answer for this. My nerves can’t take much more of this blatant injustice!
