Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has revealed Alexis Sanchez’s future depends on his agent willingness to make the contract happen.
There have been increasing reports over the future of the Chilean star as he continues to stall on renewing his contract at the Emirates and has been tipped to leave the club due to their lack of major trophies in recent years.
However, Wenger has maintained that Sanchez will not leave the club despite the speculation, but has now come out to reveal his agent could take a major part in him staying at the club.
The French boss said: “Basically, he wants to stay at the club but it’s down to finding an agreement with his agent.
“The players first have to see if they are happy at the club, then they have to find an agreement
Despite the Gunners boss comments on Sanchez’s future, latest reports have it that the former Barcelona forward is ready to see out his contract at the Emirates and leave on a free on summer, with strong interest from Chelsea who views him a potential replacement in their front three if either Diego Costa and Eden Hazard leave the club during the next summer transfer window.
