North London outfit Arsenal have welcomed England international Danny Welbeck back to the training base after months of layout due to injury.
It is understood that the former Man United striker is progressing in his recovery process from an ankle injury which is the reason why he returned to the London Colney training base.
Danny Welbeck had started the rehab process as he had a mobility training out in the United Arab Emirates which signals his recovery from the career threatening injury.
However, it is not sure if Danny Welbeck will return as an Arsenal player next season knowing that his contract expires at the end of the season and might not be handed an extension.
Danny Welbeck has expressed his delight at his return from injury and promise to do all it takes to return to full action anytime soon.
The England international has his eyes on playing for the Gunners again this season but that is well depended on his recovery process and the advice that would be given to the club by the medical team.
Before picking the injury, Danny Welbeck was part of the Arsenal team for four European League games and scored two major goals in the process.
