The 25-year-old scored a brilliant free-kick in the 13th minute and then increased his team’s advantage with another goal from outside the 18-yard box, just five minutes before the referee sounded the half time whistle.

Chelsea’s new signing Alvaro Morata added to the playmaker’s double by netting in the 72nd minute to put the team three goals up.

The midfielder’s performance at Real Madrid has been brilliant lately, contributing immensely in helping the La Liga team win the UEFA Champions League thrice and the League title once which confirms the midfield maestro to be a club hero.

Arsenal supporters were early to start a discussion on the Real star’s performance on Twitter, and some feel he would perfectly succeed injury prone Santi Cazorla when the time comes for him to move on.
