Arsenal sell Chuba Akpom for £2 million

New report have made it known that Arsenal FC have finally path ways with their 22-year-old Striker, Chuba Akpom.

The young striker has been in the news weeks ago as the Gunners were hoping to sign him out or place him on loan again.

With the new development in place, the Unai Emery have reached a final agreement with a Greek club, PAOK.

And according to the terms of the contract, PAOK will pay a sum as low as £2 million to sign the striker.

Chuba Akpom is a product of Arsenal Academy having been at Emirate Stadium since he was 6 years old but the striker has been an underperformer as he was unable to make it to the club first team.

He managed to make a debut appearance for Arsenal in 2013 but couldn’t gain much ground in the senior team.

In all his 12 appearances for Arsenal senior team, he never scored a single goal.

But former coach, Arsene Wenger tried to help him build his experience and skills by signing him on loan to 6 different clubs but he still didn’t perform much there.

This made the Gunners reach a low agreement with PAOK on a permanent basis so that he can kick-start his career on his own.
