According to reports, the future of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge is still in doubt as he keeps ignoring a new deal due to ongoing frustrations with the way the management are getting things done at the club.
It is understood that Conte does not believe his current squad can defend the premier league title next season and stand against the big teams in the Champions League. He is therefore very much keen on bringing new changes.
The Italian tactician moved to the West London club last summer after his success with Juventus and the Italian national team and also helped Chelsea win the Premier League title in his first campaign at the club.
But it seems things are going bad as Conte is said to be displeased with four key areas of Chelsea’s running, mostly in relation to their activity in the transfer market.
Daily Record revealed that the 47-year-old manager is demanding a direct line of communication to club owner Mr Roman and transfer chief Marina Granovskaia.
It was added that the Italian is also determined to revamp his coaching staff, the whole of the club’s academy, and wants improved financial terms.
Considering how Conte suddenly dumped Juventus and the Italian national team, Chelsea needs to take the manager’s concerns very serious to persuade him to remain with them next season.
