And when the Chilean took to popular social media site Twitter to send a tweet to singer Richard Marx on Sunday, he forgot to turn off the geo-location before hitting the send button.
That showed he was in the City of Paris, France amid speculation linking him with Paris Saint Germain, and he quickly deleted the original tweet and reposted it with the location turned off this time.
It is possible that Sanchez is in the City of Paris mainly to sight see, with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger having given his players the weekend off after defeating Leicester City on Friday night.
However, Mundo Deportivo claimed that he travelled to Paris with his girlfriend and his representative, reigniting rumour.
Neymar Jr’s £198m transfer to the French Capital club appeared to have ended their interest in Alexis Sanchez, but PSG’s spending shows no signs of reducing not to talk of stopping.
