Would Cesc Fabregas Make Shock Return To Emirate Stadium?

In what will sound as a shock and surprise news to Chelsea fans, rumours making the rounds claimed that Spain international midfielder Cesc Fabregas could make a shock return to Emirate stadium in the winter transfer window.

This report is according to the Metro which claims that Arsenal fans are urging Arsene Wenger to resign their former captain, following the recent injury suffered by Santi Cazorla.

Carzorla suffered an Anchilles injury during their 6-0 victory over Ludogorets in the UEFA Champions League few weeks ago. The star was expected to return to the pitch this year but latest report claimed that he will be ruled out for further three months following his surgery.

Fabregas has fallen down the pecking order in Antonio Conte’s starting line-up this season. The creative midfielder has only featured four times for the Blues this season.

The 28-years old midfielder is touted to leave Stamford Bridge in the winter. Serie A team AC Milan are reported to be the fore runner for Fabregas services.

Fabregas moved to Chelsea in 2014 from Barcelona, after he reportedly rejected a move back to Emirate stadium. The Spaniard helped the Blues win the EPL title same season while creating 18 assists.
